David Aplin Group, one of Canada's Best Managed Companies, has partnered with our client to recruit a HVAC Maintenance Account Executive based in Edmonton, AB.

Our client, a leading provider in building automation control solutions, is seeking an Account Executive to grow HVAC Maintenance accounts as well as service existing client business. This is a full-time, permanent position to start as soon as possible. 

The Role: 

  • Manage and grow existing accounts 
  • Respond to RFPs and bid requests 
  • Lead generation and client acquisition 
  • Prepare professional proposals in response to opportunities 
  • Develop accurate estimates that meet the client needs and profit objectives
  • Initiate and foster relationships through industry events and associations
  • Meet sales quotas and minimum profit margins 
  • Act as an integral pro-active member of the team 
  • Promote and secure HVAC maintenance agreements with existing and new clients

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Minimum 5 years of sales experience in HVAC service/maintenance 
  • Extensive knowledge of commercial HVAC and plumbing systems
  • Capable of reading and interpreting mechanical plans, specs, proposals and contracts
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite - Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft CRM is preferred
  • Ability to effectively handle multiple tasks and projects at the same time
