David Aplin Group, one of Canada's Best Managed Companies, has partnered with our client to recruit a Human Resources Business Partner based in Mississauga, Ontario.
The HRBP will be responsible for providing guidance to management’s strategic decision-making process. You will assist in the development and alignment of HR strategies with the business and provide coaching to their client groups by leading and facilitating HR program implementation and in resolving organizational, people and change related issues.
Closely partners with client group leadership to align and provide HR service, expertise, insight and solutions to advance their client group’s strategic plans
Manage and assist with the day-to-day delivery of HR services to client groups and is a known and available resource to management
Partners with client groups to effectively design, implement, communicate, manage and enhance HR programs and initiatives
Provides HR project leadership on business/program events within assigned client groups
Partners with management on organizational design, talent management, employee training and development, employee relations and individual coaching
Drives performance management, performance achievement programs and processes within client groups ensuring familiarity with tools and assisting in meeting deadlines
Acts as a liaison between the Human Resources department and client groups to ensure consistency in policy interpretation and application
Leads assigned projects within the H.R. department i.e. performance achievement process review and workforce planning
Coach and mentor the day-to-day activities of the H.R. Generalist
Assist with talent acquisition during peak times
7 years of progressive Human Resources experience with 4 or more years in a Business Partner capacity
Bachelor degree in Business, Human Resources or related field
Broad HR knowledge and experience in the key functional areas of Talent Management, Retention and Engagement, Employee Relations, Performance Management
Demonstrated ability to develop effective consultative relationships with management
Demonstrated comfort interacting with all levels of staff, from individual contributors through senior management
Strong business acumen and critical thinking skills
Excellent project management, organization, prioritization and multitasking skills
Ability to communicate clearly and succinctly both verbally and in writing
Ability to balance strategic vision with day-to-day hands-on service delivery
Compensation:80-90k + bonus
