David Aplin Group, one of Canada's Best Managed Companies, has partnered with our client to recruit an Administrative Assistant (AS4), reporting to the Assistant Director of the Department, based in Edmonton.
Our client, a department of the Provincial Government, is currently looking to hire a high-energy Temporary AS4 to fill a 1 - 2-month position that has become available within their office! In this role, you will be expected to delegate tasks to a small team of individuals, set up meetings, and perform other administrative tasks as required.
Intermediate Microsoft Office skills are required for this role!

Assisting the EA with scheduling the director's schedules
Booking meetings, taking minutes and distributing minutes
Verifying and matching invoices
Drafting and editing memos, documents, and correspondence
Liaising with other departments in regards to meetings and events
Assisting with the reorganization of the filing room
Assisting with the processing of access key cards for the employees
Managing the internal database of employee files
Competing data entry tasks as required
Other administrative duties as required by the Director
The Ideal Candidate:
3 years+ of experience in a similar AS4 role - Government Experience
Intermediate MS Word and Excel skills
In-depth understanding of the ARTS system
Strong organizational skills
Interpersonal skills and a professional attitude
Attention to detail is crucial for this role
The ability to multi-task manages time effectively, and prioritize tasks
