David Aplin Group, one of Canada's Best Managed Companies, has partnered with our client to recruit a Temporary Executive Assistant to the Board of Directors.
Our client, a leader in the pharmaceuticals industry in downtown Edmonton, is looking to find an experienced Executive Assistant to fill a busy, temporary position on a 2 - 3 month contract. In this role you will support the Board of Directors with administrative tasks. This is a high-profile position for someone with advanced administrative skills who enjoys working within a team and has strong interpersonal skills.

Acting as the main point of contact for the President and Board regarding appointments and inquiries
Create presentations and speak in front of executives when required
Schedule and attend meetings and take meeting minutes
Take care of travel arrangements and booking details
Act as the gatekeeper between the board and the President, Vice President and the public
Prepare expense reports
Compare and prepare correspondence
General admin duties
Typing up letters, correspondence and business reports
The Ideal Candidate:
At least 2 - 3 years of experience working as an Executive Assistant
Advanced Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills
Exceptional organization, prioritization and multi-tasking skills
Flexible and positive personality with a willingness to take on a variety of tasks
Strong attention to detail
Knowledge in this industry an asset
