David Aplin Group, one of Canada's Best Managed Companies, has partnered with our client to recruit a Temporary Executive Assistant based in DOWNTOWN Edmonton.

Our client, a rapidly growing Health Solutions organization, is looking for an efficient Executive Assistant for a 1 year mat leave position that has the possibility of an extension. Working in our client's downtown location, the Executive Assistant will act as the Director of Operations right-hand support and provide skilled assistance with administrative tasks.

This is an exciting position for an extremely organized individual with advanced Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills. If you fit this description, don't miss your chance to apply! Must have recent experience with complex calendar management.

The Role:

  • Maintaining the Director of Operations calendar
  • Liaising with board members, creating packages for board meetings
  • Attending executive meetings and taking meeting minutes
  • Arranging travel for the Director of Operations and board 
  • Organizing, scheduling and planning events
  • Creating correspondences and formatting documents
  • Preparing expense reports for the department
  • Acting as the gate keeper for the director
  • Additional office duties as assigned
The Ideal Candidate:

  • 3 years of experience at an Executive Assistant level
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint applications
  • Exceptional time management skills with strong organization and multi-tasking abilities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
