David Aplin Group, one of Canada's Best Managed Companies, has partnered with our client to recruit an Executive Administrator based in Edmonton.
Our client, a premier financial institution in North East Edmonton, is currently seeking an Executive Administrator to help them out on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will report directly to the executive support team and will be responsible for providing clerical and administrative support.
The successful candidate must possess excellent phone etiquette, a positive attitude, professional image and proven customer service skills within an Executive Administrator role. You must be welcoming, warm and friendly, organized and have solid working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
Identifying, welcoming and directing visitors and clients as per executive standards
Professionally answering and directing phone calls using a multi-line switchboard
Taking and passing messages in a timely manner
Setting up board rooms for executive level meetings
Booking meeting rooms and ordering catering
Liaising with building management when required
Assisting the team with mass mail outs
Processing incoming and outgoing mail and couriers
Performing light housekeeping tasks
Monitoring stock levels and tracking order requirements and ensuring there is no shortage of stationery
The Ideal Candidate:
1 year of office administrative experience
Intermediate MS Word skills with the ability to draft memos
Intermediate Excel skills with the ability to create basic spreadsheets and enter data
Excellent phone etiquette
Professional image and excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
Strong multi-tasking and time management abilities
