David Aplin Group is currently recruiting for an experienced recruitment consultant to join the Engineering & Technical division.  This division extends across Canada. The practice provides training and support to the division that is targeted to recruitment for engineering and technical roles.

The Role:


  • Develop and manage a diverse network of technical and engineering professionals for both contract and permanent roles
  • Become an expert in understanding technical and engineering disciplines, tools and skill sets
  • Drive regional, national and international candidate campaigns for the selection of qualified candidates

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Experience working as a recruiter for technical and engineering roles
  • Ideally coming from an Engineering Recruitment background
  • Ability to develop new business within a competitive market
  • Results-driven with a sales mindset; responds to the challenge of hitting recruiting targets
  • Strong relationship management and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a successful team
  • A strong work ethic and desire to achieve
  • Business acumen and professional demeanor which lends to credibility in front of senior candidates
  • Candidates with experience in account management as well as recruiting will be given preference
