Join one of Canada’s Best Managed Companies!  David Aplin Group is looking to hire a Director, Permanent Recruitment, AB, to help drive the growth of the Permanent side of the business within the Alberta region.  This role will report directly to the Vice President, Perm.
 
To be successful in this role you will need to be self-motivated, possess strong sales skills, be an excellent communicator with high emotional intelligence, and have a determination to win!

Key Accountabilities:
Responsible for annual GM growth in the regional market including:
  • Working with the VP to set sales objectives
  • Forecasting sales
  • Meeting and or exceeding annual budgets
Build Annual Hiring Plan with VP
Responsibility for individual productivity of the team.
Responsible for ensuring team KPIs are being met weekly.
Delivering Best Practices:
  • Assist in the facilitation of the New Hire training program ensuring that the highest quality candidates are onboarded.
  • Determine the strategic direction of each hire (area of focus or account development plans).
  • Ensuring that key target accounts are identified, CRM information is current, and a marketing plan is in place PRIOR to hire.
  • Ensuring that:
    • New hires are up to an acceptable level of productivity as per the ramp-up schedule.
    • Ensure that all Practice members are performing at or above average or level of performance.
Cultivate lasting relationships with Key Accounts to grow customer loyalty and Year over Year growth in those accounts.

The Ideal Candidate:
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role
  • University Degree
  • Previous managerial experience or completion of Management training 
  • Excellent negotiation and leadership skills
  • In-depth knowledge of sales strategies and best practices
  • Capacity to manage multiple high-level client relationships
  • Proven track record of running a successful desk/team 
  • Strong target list management and prospecting skills
  • Results focused on having the ability to see what activities need to happen to ensure success
  • Commitment to customer satisfaction 
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
