Our Global client is experiencing unprecedented growth. This newly created role will support a Senior Vice President of a complex and ever-changing business unit.
The Director of HR will contribute to the success of the business by implementing and executing short and long-term strategies, plans, policies and programs to support organizational objectives. The role will coach and build relationships with executives, becoming a trusted advisor, an influencer and facilitator of change.
The Director is a key member of the HR Leadership team, responsible for providing strategic and operational HR support.
Lead performance management, compensation, succession and talent management.
Development of an employee-oriented company culture that emphasizes safety, quality, continuous improvement, team work, and high performance.
Working with key stakeholders to deliver on transformational business strategies to enhance the success through new and innovating HR ideas.
Define and develop the corresponding HR activities to support the business strategies ensuring that all actions align with the overall HR goals and objectives.
Act as a member of the larger HR team, providing input and direction on HR issues and represent the views of the business on these issues.
Identify industry trends.
Mange workforce planning for multiple projects.
The Ideal Candidate:
10+ years of increased responsibility in a senior level Human Resources position within a corporate environment.
Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration; Master’s degree an asset.
Proven skills in examining and re-engineering operations and procedures, formulating policy, and developing and implementing HR transformation initiatives.
Success in managing and building teams.
Solid negotiation and influencing abilities, coupled with strong project management skills. Exposure to HR best practices; OD, OE and Change/Talent Management.
Strong business acumen to align both business objectives and HR strategies with corporate goals to maximize shareholder value.
Strong diagnostic skills followed by good ability to evaluate options/alternatives and develop recommendations for solutions to complex and multi-dimensional issues.
Adept at building and managing relationships effectively and be able to gain the confidence of business leaders quickly.
Tenacity, resourceful, flexible and adaptable.
Sound technical knowledge and experience as an HR Leader with proven track record of developing and delivering value-added HR solutions.
