David Aplin Group, one of Canada's Best Managed Companies, has partnered with our client, a Canadian leader in Private Banking, to recruit a Corporate Receptionist for their DOWNTOWN Edmonton office on a temporary to permanent basis.

Our client is looking for an extremely professional and polished Receptionist to be the initial point of contact and leave a glowing first impression on their clients. 

Reporting to the Assistant Banking Services Manager, you'll be responsible for representing the organization and assisting with administrative tasks related to the credit department. If you have at least two years of reception experience along with remarkable interpersonal skills, and want to work for in an exciting and dynamic environment, send us your resume now! This temporary position could go permanent for the right candidate, and requires intermediate Microsoft Office skills in both Word and Excel.

The Role:

  • Greet clients and direct them to the appropriate board room
  • Assist visitors with setting up their visitors pass
  • Answering and directing calls in a professional manner on a busy phone line
  • Providing assistance to clients and feedback to the Assistant Banking Services Manager
  • Processing incoming and outgoing mail
  • Data entry
  • Ordering office supplies
  • Review and update the internal phone directory
  • Ordering catering for office events and lunch and learns
  • Ensuring the kitchen and front desk areas are kept clean
The Ideal Candidate:

  • 2 years' experience as an Receptionist in a corporate environment
  • Credit experience is considered an asset
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication
  • Excellent planning and coordination skills
  • Ability to prioritize workload under pressure
  • Ability to exercise discretion, judgment, diplomacy and confidentiality
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
