David Aplin Group, one of Canada's Best Managed Companies, has partnered with our client an Alternative Energy Source company to recruit a Head Receptionist for a temporary 10-month maternity leave based in Edmonton, AB.

As the Corporate Administrator, you will report directly to the project manager and will provide customer service and administrative support to the department. This position requires an individual who thrives in a team-based, multi-talented and passionate environment.

You will have strong communication skills and enjoy being the "Hub" of the organization!  This 10-month temporary position with the possibility of extension requires you to have at least 3-year's RECENT experience in a similar role and excellent multi-tasking abilities.

The Role:

  • Answering on average 50 calls a day on a multiline phone system
  • Matching PO's and invoices on a daily basis
  • tracking change notices and issuing purchase orders as necessary
  • Analyzing reports and creating charts/tables with findings
  • Prepping payroll for accounting
  • Processing incoming and outgoing mail and ordering office supplies
  • Assisting in the budget process by analysis, forecasting, tracking, and report production
  • Liaising with sub-contractors and suppliers
  • Assisting with RFP's 
  • Organizing and executing office events - monthly, quarterly and annual 
  • General office duties

The Ideal Candidate:

  • 3 years + in a similar role
  • Intermediate MS Word skills
  • Intermediate Excel skills, including excellent data entry skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Attention to detail and time management skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to be the 'go to' person
  • Responsible, adaptable to change and takes ownership
