David Aplin Group, one of Canada's Best Managed Companies, has partnered with one of our top clients to recruit a Compensation Specialist based in the Winnipeg area.
This role supports the development and maintenance of national compensation programs.
Supports the HR team by maintaining and calculating incentive plans for team members.
Assists leaders with compensation-related issues by recommending appropriate adjustments.
Helps to manage survey data and conducts analysis of survey results.
Conducts ad hoc market surveys and prepares management reports.
Supports the Director with job design and position description documentation.
Prepares presentation materials for the management team.
Supports the annual merit program.
The Ideal Candidate:
Diploma/Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance or another related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience working in a similar capacity.
Strong Microsoft Office Skills with an emphasis on Excel.
Sound analytical and problem solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
Self-directed with a strong sense of initiative, motivated to learn.
Good organizational skills including the ability to multi-task and prioritize/re-prioritize as it relates to one's own work.
Experience working with projects is an asset.
A team player that can work in a collaborative environment.
Solid decision making skills; seeking guidance and support on more challenging issues.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work with all levels of management and employees, gain credibility, provide effective customer service, and foster positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
