Our Ontario-based client is expanding and looking to hire Business Development Associates for Edmonton, Montreal, and Vancouver. This is a full-time remote role, and you will be provided with a laptop, cell phone, and km/gas reimbursement.
 
If you thrive working independently and have excellent interpersonal skills and want to learn a new industry this is a great opportunity. Here you will be trained to work with commercial and residential builders, designers, contractors, and homeowners to sell design packages that are backed by a one-stop-shop platform that will enhance and simplify renovation projects.

Responsibilities:
  • Prospect new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls
  • Maintain a well-developed pipeline of prospects
  • Qualify and convert sales leads to meet and exceed sales targets
  • Schedule and attend in-person meetings and presentations with prospects
  • Create, plan, and deliver presentations and product demonstrations on company products to potential customers
  • Develop strong, ongoing relationships with prospects and customers
  • Track all sales activities in the CRM system
  • Coordinate requirements with the client and other team members
  • Develop and negotiate contracts
  • Follow up with new and existing customers to ensure satisfaction and get referrals
Qualifications:
  • 2 years of sales experience minimum requirement (business development experiences preferred)
  • Must have a proven sales track record to meet and exceed sales quotas
  • A hunter by nature
  • Superb verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills; ability to communicate professionally
  • Exceptional presentation skills with the ability to articulate compelling value propositions of our company mission
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced start-up environment
  • Proficiency in MS software and knowledge of CRM systems
  • Must be flexible in working hours (possibly weeknights and weekends) to accommodate the availability of our clients
  • A driver’s license is required
