Our client, a prestigious corporation in the business development sector, is currently seeking an Administrative Assistant/ Receptionist to fill a vacancy in their office. This 2-month temporary position is ideal for someone looking to advance their career in the corporate world. As the Administrative Assistant/ Receptionist, you will report to the General Manager and will provide administrative support to the consultant team.
The successful candidate must be professional, organized and possess intermediate Microsoft Word and Excel skills.
Managing and monitoring the front desk
Answering on average 20 calls per hour and redirecting as necessary
Meeting and greeting visitors and providing assistance to clients
Conducting Client Satisfaction surveys and following up on inquiries
Processing incoming and outgoing mail and couriers
Scheduling Clients and confirming appointments
Assisting General Manager with conflicting person and work priorities
Booking meeting rooms and ordering catering for lunches
Assisting with the organization of office Pot Lucks
Attending the corporate weekly meeting and taking minutes
Assisting payroll with time card issues
Assisting general manager with marketing campaigns
Ordering business cards and office stationery
Keeping boardroom/ kitchen area clean
The Ideal Candidate:
Previous 1 year of Administration and Receptionist experience
Intermediate MS Word skills with the ability to draft memos and insert headers and footers
Intermediate Excel skills with the ability to create basic spreadsheets and enter data
Professional image, excellent customer service skills and reliable in nature
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficient typing skills with the ability to multi-task
