Capture the excitement and opportunity to join a well-established, reputable and privately-owned company that is committed to service excellence! We are seeking a Business Development representative to execute marketing efforts on growing the Field Services division and shop customer base.
Due to the nature of this role, candidates must be willing and able to work flexible hours.

Develop overall corporate business development in both the Field and Shop divisions through continuous customer contact
Seek and nurture new opportunities with new customers and form long term JV relationships with industrial service providers
Maintain relationships with existing accounts
Identify and evaluate specific new business opportunities
Gather and communicate information on competitive pricing, other services providers in the market and new market trends
Provide continuous networking throughout the industry with clients, competitors and other vendor contacts
Communicate market trends, customer attitudes, competitive intelligence during round table discussions with Commercial Operations Team
Liaise with maintenance planners, engineers and other plant personnel
Provide adept technical support and guidance for all customers
Assist with tradeshows, presentations and customer promotional opportunities as required
Work within the group to maintain and enhance website development
Give input on pricing strategies for both Field and Shop sales
Keep operations advised of activities or initiatives to allow field operations adequate planning opportunities
Manage a flexible schedule as hours are based on business needs and travel to client meetings as needed
The Ideal Candidate:
Minimum of 8-10 years’ experience of successful sales in the oilfield industry selling an industrial service
Valid driver’s license
Strong attention to detail and multi-tasking skills with the ability to effectively close sales
Proven ability to establish and build rapport with both existing and new customers
Demonstrated record of developing new business
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and server applications
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Innovative and creative presentation skills
