David Aplin Group, one of Canada's Best Managed Companies, has partnered with our client to recruit a talented Bilingual Field Service Engineer.
The Bilingual Field Service Engineer will be accountable for managing all aspects of product maintenance and installation. The incumbent will be working with clients, customers and colleagues in different territories to ensure that the instruments are in working order and every client receives timely support.
Provide precise and concise solutions to customers to reduce any possible effect on the end consumer
Manage an assigned territory and provide all accounts with exemplary service, Provide support to other territories if necessary
Act as the point of contact for escalated calls and provide additional support by conducting in-depth investigations and offering creative solutions
Professionally and positively characterize the Company to our customers, suppliers at all levels, with peers, competitors and industry representatives
Work collectively as part of the Service Team to upkeep instruments and identify and resolve any issues
Manage a schedule for preventative maintenance and warranty inspections and complete these tasks on a regular basis
Oversee scheduling as well as the parts inventory
Ensure that all software (including AX and CRM) are current
Respond to all service calls, either by phone or on-suite, in a timely manner
Upkeep the checklists for instrument validation
Provide assistance during the installation of new products
The Ideal Candidate:
Degree in Biomedical Electronic Technologist, Or equivalent school and work experience
Must be bilingual in both English and French (spoken and written)
Must be able to work in a fast-paced, high pressure environment and manage multiple tasks and priorities
Must be organized and have strong attention to detail
An MLT designation would be an asset
Strong familiarity with Microsoft Office products (Microsoft AX considered an asset)
Must have over 5 years’ experience working in a medical technology field
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Strong Customer service skills and dedicated to providing the best service possible
Ability to work autonomously or in a team and be able to learn new concepts independent
