David Aplin Group, one of Canada's Best Managed Companies, has partnered with our client, a well-known North American private sector organization, is currently recruiting for the position of Benefits Administrator. This role will be a key member of a growing HR team.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Administering all company group benefits and pension plans in Canada and the US
  • Acting as the first point of contact for employee benefits questions
  • Acting as a liaison between insurance carriers and employees
  • Coordinating and processing enrollments, changes, and terminations
  • Submitting necessary information to insurance carriers
  • Analyzing market information and making recommendations on improvements
  • Leading renewal processes and presenting information to senior management
  • Assisting with special projects as needed
The ideal candidate will have:

  • 2+ years of benefits administration experience
  • An understanding of both Canadian and US benefits
  • Previous pension/401(k) administration experience would be an asset
  • An intermediate proficiency with MS Excel
  • Working knowledge of HRIS systems
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to work to tight deadlines
  • Strong analytical skills and mathematical acumen
  • Excellent attention to detail
