David Aplin Group, one of Canada's Best Managed Companies, has partnered with our client, an expanding manufacturing company in Edmonton, AB, as they are looking to find an Administrative Assistant, Data entry  to work within their busy office on a temporary to permanent basis.

As the advanced excel Administrative Assistant, data entry clerk  you report directly to the Operations Manager, supporting the individual with any office task. The ideal candidate will enjoy reporting, analyzing data and creating macros.

The Role:
  • Providing back-up phone and reception coverage
  • Assisting with data entry
  • Creating and analyzing reports in Excel
  • Faxing, photocopying and filing
  • Writing memos, business letters and creating basic templates
  • Booking meeting rooms
  • Attending meetings and taking minutes
  • Ordering office supplies
  • Maintaining the appearance of the office

The Ideal Candidate:
  • 1 year + of previous administration experience in a manufacturing organization 
  • Advanced user of MS word and Excel
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Detail oriented with the ability to work both independently and in a team
  • A results-oriented personality with the ability to take initiative
