Our client has been providing financial planning solutions for decades. This is an ideal opportunity for a customer-service driven individual to take their career to the next level. The Administrative Assistant will be responsible for providing support for administration and management of client account information and transaction flow. This position provides the opportunity to work in a dynamic and team-orientated environment with exposure to a variety of situations. The Role:
Providing Preparation and follow up on new client account documentation
Processing of client deposits, withdrawals, and asset transfers
Processing insurance applications and policy changes
Acting as a liaison between advisor and client regarding requests and support
Analysis and follow-up of un-reconciled items, ensuring their resolution
Assisting with quarterly billings, statements, and client reporting
Maintenance of client databases and spreadsheets
Communicating with clients and booking meetings
The Ideal Candidate:
2+ years related work experience in client administration with an investment counsel firm, broker, financial planner or mutual fund company.
Completion of a Business Administration program or related post-secondary education would be an asset
Completion of financial planning courses or a Life license would be an asset but not required
Proficiency with technology including Excel and client databases
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proven ability to deliver a high level of customer service
Strong mathematical acumen with an ability to analyze, investigate, and problem solve as needed
Ability to meet deadlines without compromising accuracy and attention to detail
