David Aplin Group, one of Canada's Best Managed Companies, has partnered with our client to recruit an Account Manager (Inside Sales).

Our client is a leading North American value-added distributor of products and solutions for Wireless Broadband and Mobility applications.  They are a fast-paced, aggressive company that has shown consistent year over year revenue growth. By partnering with vendors and clients, they are able to position valued solutions for all of their wireless communications needs.

The role will be to develop new and to service existing customers by identifying their needs, matching wireless solutions to applications and develop strategies to make a positive impact on their business.

The Role:

  • Service new and existing customers in support of business development efforts
  • Support Director of Sales and Account Managers in their business development efforts
  • Provide product, service, technical and design information to the customer
  • Prepare solutions, cost estimates, and contract documents by studying network plans and related customer information; coordinating requirements with engineering resources; analyzing cost-benefit ratios of equipment, supplies, or service applications in the customers environment; recommending or proposing changes in equipment
  • Close sale by explaining the solution and costs involved and demonstrating the benefit to the customer
  • Meet sales objectives by maintaining customer lists; discussing progress with Director of Sales and Account Managers; identifying obstacles in closing agreements; developing solutions to improve closing ratio
  • Keep track of sales opportunities in company CRM system
The Ideal Candidate:

  • 2 –3 years experience in sales of wireless and/or networking solutions including, Basic RF knowledge,  backhaul and access systems, WIFI, LTE, Routers/Switch/Hub, physical security solutions OR technical sales/knowledge
  • Motivation for Sales, Meeting Sales Goals, Negotiation, Selling to Customer Needs, Territory Management, Closing Skills, Prospecting Skills, Professionalism, Internal Communications, Listening, Communication Processes, Excellent English, written and spoken French is a bonus
  • Travel to customer premises, supplier premises, tradeshows and company related events required from time-to-time
  • A valid Passport is required
  • College degree or equivalent
  • Formal technical training in the wireless communication industry is a definite asset but not required
Compensation:

  • $45-60K base salary (depending on experience)
  • A bonus structure based on divisional performance and a benefits package
  • 1st year OTE should be over $70K and up
