An established consulting firm is seeking a motivated Senior Project Manager / Project Engineer to join its Canmore-based Land Development and Municipal Engineering team. Reporting to the Area Manager, you will lead and deliver diverse municipal infrastructure projects while playing a key role in growing the regional practice.

What You’ll Be Responsible For
- Partnering with the Area Manager to build and strengthen the Land Development and Municipal Engineering practice in the region
- Leading municipal water, wastewater, drainage, roadway infrastructure, and site servicing projects for public and private sector clients
- Providing mentorship and technical guidance to junior and intermediate staff
- Overseeing design and execution of land development and municipal infrastructure projects, including site development, municipal upgrades, water resources, watermain and sewer rehabilitation, and roadway design
- Directing design teams through conceptual, preliminary, and detailed design phases
- Leading multi-disciplinary teams on major infrastructure projects
- Managing project budgets, schedules, and client communications
- Liaising with municipalities, utility providers, and regulatory/approval agencies
- Participating in site inspections as required
- Contributing to RFPs, bids, and proposal submissions
What You Bring
- 10+ years of progressive experience in municipal infrastructure projects (public and private sector)
- Undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university
- Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation in Alberta
- Technologist qualifications may be considered with appropriate certification and ability to stamp documents
- PMP designation considered an asset
- Strong knowledge of municipal standards, guidelines, and approval processes
- Proven project management experience on municipal and/or private sector projects
- Experience in storm, sewer, watermain, and road design
- Familiarity with southern Alberta municipalities and/or mountain-region projects is an asset
- Valid driver’s license
