A well-established Vancouver boutique law firm is looking to add a talented associate lawyer to their busy private lending real estate team. Responsibilities
The incumbent lawyer will be responsible for a majority of the residential real estate mortgages and private lending transactions. Foreclosure matters are often handled as well, so experience here would be considered a strong asset. This is a very busy component of the firm’s business with approximately 50 files being handled a month. There are expectations of autonomy, initiative, and independent client management.
Qualifications
- Called to the BC Bar and be in good standing
- Considerable experience with private lending / mortgages
- Foreclosure experience considered a strong asset
