Benefits:
- Base salary of $70,000 to $100,000 or more based on candidate experience
- Hybrid work for candidates working in the Toronto office – remote work available for candidates outside of the Greater Toronto Area

What You’ll Need to Succeed:
- Minimum 2 years of E&O underwriting experience, preferably with carrier exposure
- Strong understanding of engineering sectors such as Acoustic, Electrical, HVAC, Industrial Automation, Mechanical, and Software Design
- Ability to evaluate risks with confidence and provide sound underwriting judgments
- Excellent communication skills for training, broker engagement, and team collaboration
- Willingness to learn and grow in the engineering risk space
Preferred Education and Experience:
- At least 3 years of underwriting experience with a focus on engineering firm risks
- Prior exposure to engineering or technical risk assessments
- Proven success in managing a portfolio with a focus on retention and relationship building
- Insurance related education (ex. CIP or CRM or willing to pursue)
