Required Skills:
- Proven insurance production experience with a focus on commercial insurance
- RIBO license (mandatory)
- Solid brokerage experience, especially in commercial generalist roles
- Strong hunter mentality with the ability to develop and leverage a book of business
- Excellent client relationship management skills
- Metrics-driven with a focus on achieving monthly and annual targets
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with a supportive team
Nice to Have Skills:
- Existing book of business or client portfolio
- Experience with specialty markets such as captive or trucking insurance
- Familiarity with larger commercial accounts and complex policies
- Known connections within the Ontario commercial insurance market
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Industry certifications or relevant licensing as per RIBO standards
- Extensive experience in commercial insurance brokerage, ideally with a track record of producing high revenue
- Seasoned professionals with proven success in hunter roles and client acquisition
