About the Opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of infrastructure projects across British Columbia. You’ll manage all aspects of construction delivery—from pre-construction and planning through to execution and closeout—while working with a high-performing, collaborative team. About the Position
As Project Manager, you will oversee project setup, budgeting, scheduling, and execution while serving as the primary liaison between clients, consultants, site staff, and subcontractors. You’ll provide leadership to multidisciplinary teams and ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget. The role offers a balance of office and field responsibilities and requires a proactive leader who can navigate challenges and drive performance across all project phases.
Responsibilities
- Lead the setup and execution of infrastructure projects, including wastewater treatment facilities, pump stations, and related systems
- Manage the full project lifecycle, from pre-construction through to turnover
- Maintain responsibility for project budgets, cost control, forecasting, and scheduling
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and site teams
- Coordinate internal and external resources to ensure smooth execution
- Organize project teams, delegate responsibilities, and monitor performance
- Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
- Identify and mitigate risks while resolving project issues in a timely manner
Qualifications
- 5+ years of project management experience with a mid-size or large general contractor
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage teams
- Proven track record managing technically complex infrastructure projects
- Proficiency in budgeting, scheduling, and project documentation
- Flexibility to travel to project sites as needed
- Site Ready BC certification (or ability to obtain)
Compensation
- Base Salary: $120,000 – $150,000
