Aplin has partnered with a Winnipeg based company to hire an Executive Assistant for an immediate ongoing temporary opportunity for a minimum 2 year temporary position. Are you an experienced Executive Assistant with strong calendar management and PowerPoint skills. Our client, a leader in professional services, is currently recruiting for an Executive Assistant term role. Supporting senior management, the successful candidate will become a key member of a dynamic professional team.

Responsibilities:
  • Providing full administrative support to the senior executives including prioritizing schedules for multiple C level executives
  • Prepare agendas for meetings, calendar management, take minutes at meetings
  • Creating and editing PowerPoint presentations
  • Writing and drafting correspondence
  • Organizing and managing all meeting arrangements, calendar, and Outlook communication
  • Preparation and development of executive presentation materials, executive briefing materials
  • Developing and managing all record-keeping systems, maintaining filing systems, org charts, etc.
  • Day to day running of the office
  • Assist in the hiring process of the administration team 
  • Distribute work evenly amongst the team
  • Provide direction to and for the administration team and set a plan for optimal resources for the management team
Qualifications:
  • 5 plus years of experience as an Executive Assistant / and or Office Manager as an experienced hands on technically savvy Executive Assistant
  • Completion of a relevant office administration or general business post-secondary education is a strong asset
  • Experience in a professional services or consulting firm is a strong asset
  • Strong organization, administrative and communication skills
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize workload and meet tight deadlines
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Smartsheet's and SharePoint
  • Must be a self-starter with the ability to work independently
  • Ability to be pro-active in approaching senior management
  • Confidentiality is a key component of this position
  • Accuracy and attention to detail are key requirements
Salary range will depend on experience from $40.00 – $50.00 per hour.
