As the Accounts Payable & Receivable Specialist, you’ll play a key role in keeping our financial engine running smoothly. Reporting to the Controller, you’ll own the ins and outs of our accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring accuracy, and efficiency, and that our vendors, suppliers, and customers are raving fans of our company.

Your Mission:
- Be the financial hero: Process, track, and record payments with precision and efficiency.
- Strengthen relationships: Keep vendors, suppliers, and customers happy with timely payments and thoughtful communication.
- Drive improvements: Spot opportunities to streamline processes and make our financial systems even better.
- Protect our integrity: Ensure compliance with policies, maintain confidentiality, and report discrepancies.
What You’ll Do:
- Process vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy and approvals.
- Reconcile discrepancies between POs, invoices, and shipping documents.
- Build positive relationships with vendors by responding to inquiries promptly.
- Prepare and issue customer invoices daily, ensuring accuracy.
- Manage accounts receivable records, monitor aging, and take the lead on collections.
- Perform daily cash management duties, including recording deposits and posting payments.
- Analyze A/R data and provide insights to management.
- Assist with month-end reconciliations, journal entries, and reporting.
- Take part in special projects and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
What You Bring to the Team:
- Experience that counts: 4+ years in a fast-paced environment (bonus points for manufacturing experience!).
- Education: A certificate or diploma in Accounting is preferred.
- Tech-savvy: You’re comfortable with ERP systems (NetSuite experience is a plus) and Microsoft Office.
- Detail-oriented: You have a sharp eye for numbers and a knack for organization.
- Problem-solver: You’re analytical, proactive, and love finding smarter ways to work.
- Team player with independence: You can take the lead on tasks while thriving in a collaborative environment.
