Based in the Vancouver Lower Mainland area, this role focuses on driving sales within their Automation Products Portfolio, specializing in industrial automation and control systems. Key Responsibilities:
- Drive sales and technical support through client calls, and presentations to OEMs, consulting engineers, distributors and end users. Provide technical support and expertise to the sales team to facilitate successful project outcomes. 50%
- Provide application engineering solutions, recommending gear motors and Variable Frequency Inverters. 20%
- Lead marketing and business development to expand the client base and achieve sales goals. 20%
- Offer startup and field support at customer sites. 5%
- Handle administrative tasks to maintain operational efficiency. 5%
- Collaborate with sales teams and the Western Sales Manager to identify opportunities and plan inventory.
- Negotiate with suppliers and advise clients on equipment purchases.
- Deliver product presentations and negotiate sales contracts.
- Analyze market trends, manage inventory, and forecast requirements.
- Communicate technical information clearly to clients and stakeholders.
- Degree in Electrical Engineering with P.Eng status.
- 5+ years of experience in machine design, drafting, and electrical circuitry.
- Proven skills in sales, field installations, troubleshooting, and public speaking.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Valid driver’s license with regular travel required.
