Service Writer

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented Diesel Truck Service Writer to join our client's team. As a Service Writer, you will be the primary point of contact for clients' service or repair work. Your role will involve providing exceptional customer service and coordinating repairs.

Responsibilities:

• Greet customers and provide a warm and friendly welcome.
• Provide detailed explanations of recommended repairs and services.
• Generate repair orders and obtain necessary approvals from customers.
• Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs.
• Request and track POs.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions.
• Handle cash transactions process payments, and file documents.
• Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction with completed repairs.

Qualifications:

• Completion of High school required.
• Previous experience in a customer service role in an Diesel truck or equipment repair setting
• Strong customer service skills.
• Knowledge of Diesel Truck repair and maintenance procedures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in the use of computers.
