If you are a talented and experienced Senior HR Manager who specializes in organizational culture and development, Aplin has partnered with a Northwest Edmonton-based public sector organization to hire a new Leader to join their team.

Salary range: $120,000 - $125,000.00

Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of 4 direct reports and 3 indirect reports
  • Drive major organizational projects including leadership development, people strategy, diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives, and corporate events.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert in organizational culture and change management.
  • Act as a strategic advisor to the executive team and the board, ensuring that initiatives align with the organization's vision and objectives.
  • Champion initiatives that elevate employee engagement, culture evaluation, and recognition programs.
  • Facilitate training sessions and present at the board level, requiring strong public speaking and relationship-building skills.
Qualifications:
  • Charismatic and a natural relationship builder, you have a talent for inspiring teams and engaging diverse stakeholders.
  • You bring 5-7 years of HR leadership experience, ideally within the public sector or with public-sector clients.
  • You bring a background in organizational change, culture development, or similar, you have proven experience crafting and executing initiatives that have driven real results.
  • You thrive in environments that require juggling multiple high-profile projects.
  • You are confident presenting to executives and boards, engaging with audiences at all levels of the organization.
  • Experience working in unionized environments or a strong understanding of how unions function.
