They work with customers ranging from small start-ups to large-scale operations in industries such as manufacturing, industrial, distribution, produce, and  food processing.

Responsibilities:
  • Prospecting and Networking: Identify and engage potential customers through various channels, including industry events, conferences, and proactive outreach (e.g., cold calling, social media).
  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and nurture long-term customer relationships by understanding their needs, offering tailored product solutions, and conducting product demonstrations.
  • Sales Negotiation and Closing: Negotiate contracts and pricing, ensuring deals are profitable and aligned with company objectives.
  • Market Research and Sales Insights: Monitor industry trends and competitor activities, providing key market intelligence and regular updates on sales forecasts and activities.
  • Lead Generation and Presentations: Generate leads through email campaigns, cold calling, and social platforms, delivering compelling sales presentations via virtual or in-person meetings.
  • Customer Engagement and Retention: Maintain ongoing communication with customers, providing excellent service, resolving issues, and identifying further sales opportunities.
  • Sales Quoting and CRM Management: Prepare accurate quotes, manage pricing negotiations, maintain detailed CRM records, and collaborate with internal teams to optimize sales outcomes.
  • Other Duties: Perform additional tasks as directed by the Sales Manager.
Qualifications:
  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience in sales or business development, preferably in packaging or distribution.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems, Microsoft Office, and CRM software.
  • Communication: Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills, with a customer-first approach.
  • Personal Attributes: Highly organized with excellent time management skills, proactive in problem-solving, and committed to personal and professional development.
  • Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment and analyze data for informed decision-making.
