If you are a talented and experienced Aircraft Technician, Aplin has the right opportunity for you!  Our client, a leader in their field, has partnered with Aplin to grow their team in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan!

Responsibilities
  • Inspects, maintains, repairs, and test aircraft systems. 
  • Remove and replace line replaceable units and components. 
  • Specialty work in maintenance shops as required. 
  • Interpret technical publications and diagrams. 
  • Maintain tools and equipment required to perform primary duties. 
  • Order aircraft spare parts and materials. 
  • Conduct flight line servicing operations. 
  • Debrief Team Lead as required. 
  • Carry out workplace inspections and clean ups. 
  • Fill position of Desk Controller.
Education 
  • Transport Canada approved Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Diploma (or equivalence - Canadian Forces AVN Technician).
  • Possession of Aircraft Maintenance Engineering license M2 or (M1/ M2 combined). 
Experience 
  • No less than 4 years of aircraft related experience.
  • Minimum 3 years 1st and 2nd line maintenance activities. 
  • Experience in life cycle support activities an asset.
Must Have
  • Have proven experience as a team player. 
  • Have good oral and written communication skills. 
  • Be able to work shifts; some travel required. 
  • Possess a valid driver’s license. 
  • Have knowledge of aerospace design and maintenance practices.   
  • Must be able to obtain a Reliability security clearance from the Government of Canada. 
  • Must be eligible to work in Canada, either as a Canadian Citizen, permanent resident, or valid Work Permit.
