Responsibilities:
- Accounts Payable/Receivable: Manage AP/AR tasks for the Edmonton branch. This is not a high-volume role but requires high accuracy and attention to detail.
- Trade Record Sheets: Posting and paying out trade record sheets efficiently.
- Real Estate Conveyancing: Invoicing parties, and handling general conveyancing tasks.
- Research & Documentation: Pull land titles, tax information, and corporate searches as required.
- Money Deposits: Handle electronic money deposits with precision.
- Account Reconciliation: Reconcile both Trust and General accounts regularly to ensure accuracy.
- Phone & Reception Backup: Provide secondary support for reception, including answering, screening, and directing calls to agents. This is a low-volume task.
- Software Proficiency: Utilize Sage 50 for accounting tasks. Advanced Excel skills are essential.
- Administrative Tasks: Order office supplies, handle mail and couriers, print brochures for agents and perform other general administrative duties as needed.
- Must have at least 2 years of full cycle AP/AR experience.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel.
- Experience with Sage 50 is preferred.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and work independently.
- Previous experience in real estate or commercial transactions is an asset.
- A proactive and positive attitude with strong communication skills.
