Director of Engineering – Rotating Equipment

If you are a talented and experienced Director of Engineering, Aplin has the right opportunity for you!  Our client, a leader in their field, has partnered with Aplin to grow their team in Mississauga. 

Essential Functions:

• Provide managerial leadership to Applications, Product, and Design teams.
• Manage engineering processes and systems.
• Serve as key client contact for technical support.
• Oversee technical requirements and plans for projects.
• Ensure engineering projects meet schedule and budget constraints.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance.
• Manage product design documentation and configurations.
• Control the quotation process.
• Perform resource planning and budgeting.
• Analyze and act on performance metrics.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering; Master’s preferred.
• Eligible for Professional Engineer licensing.
• 5 years managing engineering product development teams.
• 10 years engineering/design experience.
• Eligible for PMP Certification.
• Knowledge of motors, and rotating equipment.
