The Associate Principal is responsible for driving strategy and overseeing business development. Serving as the primary point of contact for clients, the Associate Principal leverages expert knowledge of intricate business information to acquire, retain, and establish strategic partnerships to expand our high-net-worth client base.

Responsibilities:

Business Development
  • Establish sustainable business growth by targeting top-tier clients and delivering exceptional work.
  • Achieve lasting value by originating (or playing a pivotal role in originating) clients for the firm.
  • Maintain a growth-oriented focus by expanding the firm's client base and business volume.
  • Contribute to crafting marketing visions and strategies to attract desired clients and enhance our market reputation.
  • Engage in activities aimed at bolstering the firm's brand, reputation, and visibility, such as public speaking, writing articles, and other defined initiatives.
  • Serve as an ambassador to aid in building networks and profiles.
Client Relationship Management
  • Cultivate and expand the client base in terms of both quantity and business volume per client.
  • Meet the ongoing demand for delivering exceptional service tailored to client needs.
  • Collaborate with the team to develop innovative solutions that add value for clients.
  • Consistently deliver efficient, cost-effective services.
  • Forge, nurture, and sustain strong client relationships effectively.
People Management, Leadership, and Team/Skills Development
  • Set a leadership example for your department and other firm members by:
    • Promoting and facilitating collaboration among team members.
    • Demonstrating exemplary work ethic, conduct, and crisis management across the firm.
    • Harnessing talent to achieve results.
    • Exhibiting the organization's vision and values through actions rather than mere words.
Financial and Business Performance
  • Achieve superior financial performance for the team/department/division under your purview.
  • Uphold sound financial practices.
  • Demonstrate unwavering dedication and commitment through diligent work and long-term engagement.

Qualifications:

  • Background in Estate and Tax planning for the High Net Worth market.
  • 5-10 years of experience in a professional services firm at a minimum Associate Partner level, or in a Senior Client Facing role in Tax and Estate Planning within a Financial Institution.
