We have partnered with a growing company in Vancouver, BC for an exciting opportunity! Our client is looking to hire a Project Manager with a proven track record of success in managing multi-family, condo, and residential construction projects.  

Their growing residential portfolio includes 20,500 homes that are complete, in design, or under construction, from master-planned mixed-use residential and multifamily to townhomes, rental, and single-family communities.

Compensation:
  • Depending on experience, the base salary range is $100,000 - 140,000 plus bonus.

Responsibilities:
  • Know how to drive results, even when the chips are down
  • Will be responsible for construction until turnover to homeowners and tenants
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Cultivate and maintain your existing relationships with industry consultants and trades
  • Communicate priorities with conviction and candor
  • Execute budgets and schedules like a boss
  • Have overall responsibility for projects until turnover to homeowners and tenants
  • Provide input on consultant selections and procurement of soil testing/reports and any necessary environmental testing/reports
  • Be involved and represent construction at the inception of a project
  • Provide value engineering and construction assistance up to the issuance of DP
  • Facilitate and direct material issues to resolution with input from the development team
  • Ensure and enforce quality control of the finished product
  • Deliver projects on schedule, and on budget and update monthly cash flow projections
  • Assist in updating  company site safety practices and enforce them on-site
  • Provide estimates/budgets during the various stages of the development process
  • Mentor and develop Jr. Project Managers and Project Coordinators

Qualifications: 
  • A minimum of 5+ years’ experience managing all phases of designing and construction of multi-family, residential projects
  • A thorough understanding of the specific needs, codes, and regulations about building within B.C., specifically Vancouver
  • Competent computer skills to review and produce project documents and communicate effectively in an online, real-time environment
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD (desirable)
  • A balance of humility and ambition
