We are seeking a motivated, passionate, and agile Recruiter to join a growing team.  Reporting to the Director, Talent Acquisition, you will be responsible for leading the end-to-end recruitment process.  Your focus will be on executing a best-in-class sourcing and recruitment strategy to generate high-quality candidates who fit with the organization’s culture. 

  • Responsible for all aspects of the full-cycle recruitment process; including qualifying, pre-screening, and conducting behavioral-based interviews with potential candidates
  • Planning and executing strategic sourcing plans for open roles and funnel requisitions through the use of internal and external marketing opportunities
  • Preparation of job postings, interview guides, offer letters, and documents required for onboarding new employees, including new hire orientation
  • Acting as a trusted consultant to hiring managers; partnering to determine staffing requirements and supporting conversations relating to hiring decisions
  • Increase awareness of the organization as an employer of choice through various branding initiatives and effective communication of our employer value proposition. Identify new recruitment and branding opportunities and make recommendations to enhance recruitment best practices
  • Work in collaboration with HR Business Partners to provide guidance on recruitment and selection processes
  • Ensuring hiring practices are followed consistently and fairly
  • Participate in the maintenance and preparation of weekly recruitment reports and provide data-driven updates to hiring managers
  • Maintain accurate candidate and job tracking within the ATS
  • Post-secondary education in a related field (i.e. BBA with a concentration in Human Resources)
  • A minimum of 5+ years of full cycle recruitment experience is required, with demonstrated increasing complexity of roles
  • Familiarity with conducting behavioral-based interviews and liaising with internal and external parties
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a high-volume recruitment setting
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multi-task is required. Ability to coordinate daily tasks and ongoing projects effectively and efficiently within specified timeframes
  • Ability to solve problems in an analytical, tactful, and objective manner. Ability to demonstrate sound judgment when making decisions
  • Demonstrated change management skills, with the ability to function well in a dynamic and demanding work environment while remaining positive and focused
  • Strong communication, both verbally and in writing, including the ability to influence and effectively negotiate  
  • Excellent listening and strong interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in a variety of software packages including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Strong customer service focus for both internal and external customers/partners
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment
  • Ability to work with confidential and personal information discretely and professionally
