- 80-120K base salary, commensurate with experience
- Eligible for annual bonus up to 40%, based on performance

- Creating and implementing a Procurement and Engineering Strategy that consistently delivers results, manages risk, and advances corporate objectives
- Following global procurement developments and trends, and leveraging this knowledge to inform operational tactics and procurement strategies
- Building, training, maturing, and improving a team that works cross-functionally, and in partnership with vendors to:
- design, engineer, and validate consumer products
- optimize costs through value-engineering and smart procurement
- discover suppliers
- negotiate win-win supply agreements that can be easily operated by GoodMorning’s Supply Chain team
- identify opportunities to improve execution, and to capture and incorporate these opportunities into daily operations
- Vendor discovery and commercial evaluation thereof
- Building an internal knowledge base on employment law and other business-relevant regulations
- Actively managing the P/L of the function
- Taking responsibility for resource governance of the Procurement Engineering Function
- Building KPI reporting to ensure continuous, high-performance of the function
- Driving performance management and compensation management processes
- Recruiting, developing, and managing the performance of teammates to drive world-class execution
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in accounting, finance, science, engineering, or other related field
- 10+ years experience with global and domestic procurement, preferably with experience in consumer goods, manufacturing, warehousing, and logistics
- Demonstrable knowledge of Procurement best practices and strategy
- Demonstrable “Move Fast” mindset
- Demonstrable knowledge of negotiation best practices and commercial awareness
- Strong technical writing skills
- Proven track record of building and leveraging relationships with suppliers
- 5+ years experience leading and structuring teams
- Industry designations considered assets, but not required
