Our client is hiring a Group Benefits Account Executive to drive new group benefits sales through targeted outreach, referrals, and relationship-based business development. Opportunities exist across Alberta.

Responsibilities
- Build a prospect list and consistently generate meetings through outreach and networking
- Develop relationships with owners, executives, and HR leaders
- Identify client needs and position solutions clearly and credibly
- Prepare proposals and present recommendations
- Close new accounts and coordinate onboarding handoff
- Track activity and progress with disciplined follow-through
- Stay current on market trends relevant to group benefits
Qualifications
- Track record of hitting targets in a hunter-oriented B2B sales role
- Experience in group benefits is strongly preferred
- Strong business development skills (prospecting, objection handling, closing)
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a consultative approach
- Nice to have: portable network, experience working with referral partners, industry coursework or designations
