A well-established insurance brokerage is seeking an Account Executive to drive new business, grow and retain a commercial portfolio, and identify cross-selling opportunities. Backed by a financial organization that invests in insurance companies and brokerages, the firm offers a stable, supportive environment with dedicated administrative support for producers and a base salary. Its commercial lines portfolio spans businesses of all sizes across a wide range of industries.
This is a fully remote opportunity open to candidates across Canada, excluding Quebec. A Level 2 insurance license or equivalent is required.
Responsibilities
- Prospect and generate new commercial insurance opportunities through outreach, referrals, and networking
- Manage renewals and proactively retain and expand an assigned book of business
- Prepare and present proposals, negotiate terms, and guide clients through binding and onboarding
- Identify cross-sell opportunities and coordinate with internal specialists as needed
- Maintain accurate activity, pipeline, and account notes in the CRM
- Partner with service and processing support to ensure smooth administration and an excellent client experience
Qualifications
- 2 plus years of experience in commercial insurance sales
- Level 2 insurance license or equivalent
- Strong relationship-building skills and a client-first mindset
- Comfortable working to activity goals and performance targets
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary of $60,000 to $85,000 plus commission (paid monthly)
