Our client is seeking an experienced and motivated Human Resources Manager to join a small and growing company. This role will play a key part in supporting employees throughout the employment lifecycle while ensuring HR practices are aligned with company policies and applicable employment and labour legislation.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full recruitment and selection process, from job postings through to hiring
- Oversee employee onboarding, orientation, and integration into the organization
- Provide payroll support and assist with benefits administration
- Address and manage employee concerns, grievances, and workplace relations matters in a fair, confidential, and professional manner
- Develop, maintain, and ensure the accuracy of HR records, documentation, and reports
- Review, update, and maintain company HR policies, procedures, and guidelines
- Support compliance with applicable employment standards and labour legislation
- Promote a positive, respectful, inclusive, and productive workplace culture
- Provide ongoing HR guidance and support to employees and management as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- Previous experience in human resources, employee relations, recruitment, or a related HR role
- Strong knowledge of HR practices, employment standards, and workplace compliance
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Strong judgment, discretion, and the ability to handle confidential and sensitive matters professionally
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a growing team
