Our client, a respected Family Law boutique located in the GTA, is seeking a talented Associate Family Lawyer to join their legal team in a supportive and collaborative environment. Please note that this is a hybrid role, offering flexibility while maintaining opportunities for in-office collaboration.
Working closely with experienced Partners and legal professionals, this role will support clients across a broad range of Family Law matters while providing high-quality legal advice, advocacy, and representation. - Base Salary: $90,000 – $120,000 (commensurate with experience)

Key Responsibilities
- Manage a diverse caseload of Family Law matters from initial client consultation through resolution
- Provide legal advice and representation on matters involving divorce, separation, custody and access, and spousal support
- Represent clients in negotiations, mediations, motions, and other dispute resolution proceedings
- Prepare legal correspondence, pleadings, agreements, and other court-related documentation
- Conduct legal research and provide practical, strategic advice to clients
- Develop and implement effective case strategies in collaboration with clients and legal professionals
- Communicate professionally and compassionately with clients, opposing counsel, and other stakeholders
- Maintain organized and accurate client files while ensuring deadlines and procedural requirements are met
- Collaborate with Partners and colleagues to support the successful resolution of complex Family Law matters
- Maintain strong client relationships while delivering high-quality and responsive legal service
Qualifications
- License to practice law in Ontario
- 2+ years of Family Law experience within a law firm environment
- Strong knowledge of Ontario Family Law legislation, procedures, and court processes
- Experience managing Family Law matters independently from intake through resolution
- Trial experience is considered a strong asset
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail, organizational abilities, and time-management skills
- Professional, empathetic, and client-service-oriented demeanor
- Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently
- Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively within a busy legal environment
