Our client, a leading industrial manufacturing organization, is looking for an Inside Sales Representative to join their Edmonton team and play a key role in supporting customers, processing sales opportunities, and driving business growth. Reporting to the Inside Sales Manager, this is an excellent opportunity for an inside sales professional with industrial and Oil & Gas experience who enjoys building customer relationships, preparing quotations, and managing orders from inquiry through delivery.

- Compensation: $65,000–$75,000 base salary + annual bonus
- Please note this role is fully on-site in the client’s Edmonton office.

Responsibilities
- Generate new business and support existing customer accounts through phone, email, and other digital communication methods
- Respond to customer inquiries, qualify opportunities, and provide solutions based on customer requirements
- Prepare accurate quotations and process customer sales orders from initial inquiry through completion
- Understand, analyze, document, and communicate technical, commercial, and contractual terms and conditions
- Support and collaborate with the Inside Sales and Outside Sales teams in opportunity development and customer support
- Manage a high volume of emails, customer requests, and sales-related activities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
- Maintain and update customer, sales, and opportunity records
- Work within established company quality management systems and processes
- Verify customer orders and required customer information
- Complete credit forms, invoice reconciliations, returns, and other sales administration activities
- Compile sales and reporting data as required
- Communicate with customers and vendors to provide effective business solutions and maintain strong relationships
- Collaborate with sales, logistics, warehouse, accounting, procurement, and other internal teams to ensure orders are processed accurately and efficiently
- Provide exceptional customer service throughout the quotation, ordering, and delivery process
- Develop a strong understanding of the company’s products, services, customers, and industry to support continued growth and business development
Skills & Experience
- 2+ years of direct inside sales or customer service experience
- Previous experience within an industrial or manufacturing environment is required
- Oil & Gas industry experience is required
- Post-secondary education is required; a Collegiate Degree or C.E.T. designation is an asset
- Experience preparing quotations and processing sales orders
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build and maintain long-term customer relationships
- Strong prioritization, organization, and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail and proofreading abilities
- Ability to self-direct, multitask, prioritize, and manage a high volume of work effectively
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Experience working with an ERP system is an asset; experience with QAD, Oracle, or similar systems is preferred
- Familiarity with sales reports, sales records, and order management processes
- Experience within the fastener, gasket, or seals industry is a strong asset
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across sales and operational teams
- Proactive, customer-focused, and solutions-oriented with the ability to learn technical products and processes quickly
