We’re looking for an organized and personable Administrative Assistant for a short-term 1 week contract in central Edmonton. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong reception, administrative and customer service skills who is available for a one-week assignment with the possibility of extension.
Dates: August 28 – September 4th (potential for extension)
What You’ll Be Doing
- Manage the front reception desk and provide friendly, professional service to visitors.
- Answer phones, monitor messages and direct inquiries to the appropriate team members.
- Respond to general public inquiries and provide information or resources as required.
- Monitor security cameras and escalate security concerns when necessary.
- Issue and track temporary access cards, keys and visitor access.
- Coordinate deliveries and provide access to trades and service providers.
- Maintain daily activity trackers, sign-in sheets, key logs and other administrative records.
- Assist with room bookings and appointment coordination.
- Process in-person payments and maintain related documentation.
- Order office supplies and assist with purchasing.
- Provide general administrative and facility support as required.
What We’re Looking For
- Previous reception, administrative or customer service experience.
- Proficiency with Google Workspace applications.
- Strong computer skills and ability to learn new systems quickly.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Organized, reliable and detail-oriented.
- Comfortable interacting with the public and handling a variety of inquiries.
