Senior Transportation Dispatcher

If you’ve spent years in transportation and dispatch and know what it takes to keep trucks moving, customers happy, and a busy operation running smoothly, this could be a great next step.

We are partnering with a well-established, proudly Saskatchewan-based transportation organization to find an experienced Senior Transportation Dispatcher to join their Saskatoon team.

This is an opportunity for someone who doesn’t simply want to follow an existing playbook. The team is looking for an experienced dispatcher who can bring ideas to the table, use their judgment, make decisions, identify better ways of doing things, and have a genuine impact on the operation.

You’ll be joining a fun, supportive and down-to-earth team where people care about the work they do and about one another. There is a strong sense of teamwork, but you’ll also be given the autonomy and trust to do your job well.

And while the business operates 24/7, this position works Monday through Friday.

What Makes This Opportunity Different?
You already know how to dispatch. What you may be looking for now is an organization where that experience is genuinely valued.
Here, you’ll have the opportunity to:

What You’ll Be Doing
As the Senior Hauling Dispatcher, you’ll play a key role in coordinating the movement of equipment, operators and freight while balancing safety, customer commitments, efficiency and cost.
Your responsibilities will include:

What You’ll Bring
We’re looking for someone who has been around transportation long enough to know that no two days go exactly according to plan—and who actually enjoys figuring things out when they don’t.
Ideally, you’ll bring:

Most importantly, we’re looking for someone who takes pride in what they do. You’re accountable, calm under pressure, approachable, and willing to jump in and help the team when needed.

The Environment
Culture matters here.
This is a friendly, supportive and collaborative workplace where people work hard but also enjoy working together. The organization takes safety and customer service seriously without creating an overly corporate environment.
They want someone who will become part of the team—not simply fill a dispatch chair.
You’ll be trusted to bring your experience to the role, and if you see an opportunity to make something safer, faster, more efficient or simply better, they want to hear about it.

Ready for Something Different?
If you’re an experienced dispatcher who enjoys the transportation industry but is ready for more autonomy, more influence and the opportunity to make a visible impact, we’d love to connect. This could be an excellent opportunity to take everything you’ve learned throughout your dispatch career and bring it to an organization that will genuinely value your experience.
