This position would be a short-term contract for the management of a office tower in Downtown Vancouver.
We are seeking a Facilities Manager to cover for a medical leave with the potential for an extension. We are looking for a seasoned leader to manage the property operations.
This position will involve a lot of moving parts with overseeing facility staff, managing building security, coordinating repairs, liaise with contractors, and ensure all safety compliance.
Compensation
- Salary: $60/hr – $70/hr
- 2-3 month contract
Responsibilities
- Oversee maintenance programs of all building and site equipment including fire/life, HVAC, electrical, security, and building management systems.
- Maintain positive tenant relationships through effective communication
- Coordinate tenant and landlord construction activities
- Oversee health and safety operations in the building
- Provide leadership, development and motivation to the over-arching operations team.
- Analyzing budgets, forecast, and variance analysis.
- Provide leadership and support for capital projects.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience with related work experience in similar environments with comparable building systems.
- Previous experience with Commercial, Retail, or Residential properties.
