About The Position
- Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies, compliance programs, and internal standards that support business objectives and legislative requirements.
- Lead and mentor a team, providing coaching, performance support, and development opportunities.
- Partner with business leaders to provide guidance on complex HR, compliance, and employee relations matters.
- Monitor legislative changes and ensure organizational policies and practices remain compliant.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance HR processes, reporting, and operational effectiveness.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to integrate policy and compliance requirements into business practices and systems.
- Prepare recommendations and communications to support informed decision-making and organizational alignment.
- Promote the consistent application of policies while helping mitigate organizational risk.
- Support special projects and strategic initiatives as required.
The Requirements
- Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- 8+ years of progressive experience in human resources, policy development, compliance, governance, or a related field.
- Experience working within a large, complex organization is considered a strong asset.
- Previous leadership experience with a demonstrated ability to coach, mentor, and develop high-performing teams.
- Strong understanding of employment legislation, HR best practices, and organizational compliance.
- Experience developing, implementing, or improving policies, procedures, and business processes.
- Proven ability to build strong relationships and collaborate effectively with leaders and stakeholders across an organization.
- Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to assess complex situations and develop practical solutions.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate complex information clearly and effectively.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with HRIS platforms, reporting tools, and Microsoft Office, with the ability to leverage data to support decision-making and continuous improvement.
- A proactive, collaborative, and solutions-focused approach with a commitment to continuous learning and process improvement.
- This position is fully in office, but will require occasional travel, candidates must be able to travel to the United States and Internationally.
Compensation
- Annual salary range is $135,000 – $150,000, depending on experience.
