This is a hands-on keyman role suited for Mechanics who take pride in keeping critical equipment running safely and efficiently.
Join one of the world’s leading gold producers as they continue to expand across Canada. This is an opportunity to be a part of an exciting project while earning strong compensation on a predictable fly-in / fly-out rotation.
- Competitive hourly rate with daily overtime; Annual Compensation Range: $150,000 – $200,000, commensurate with experience
- 12-hour shifts on a 3-weeks-in / 3-weeks-out schedule
- All flights, accommodations, and meals provided
- Modern site camp with fitness and recreational amenities
- Prepaid flights and hotels, plus reimbursement for meals and incidental expenses
You’ll be responsible for diagnosing and troubleshooting Surface Drill Rigs (Sandvik DI650s).
- Red Seal Heavy Duty Mechanic certification (required)
- 5+ years of mining experience (required)
- 5+ years of troubleshooting electrical wiring systems, emissions systems, and hydraulic systems
- Strong troubleshooting skills and a safety-first mindset (required)
- Surface Drills technical expertise (Sandvik DI650)
