Tammy Boyko and Carlan Wilbon with Aplin are currently seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist for an immediate temporary opportunity in Winnipeg.
This is an onsite position within a large, fast-paced organization and is an excellent opportunity for a recruiter who thrives in a high-volume environment, enjoys managing multiple priorities, and has strong full-cycle recruitment experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing and screening through offer and onboarding, across multiple provinces in Western Canada.
- Recruit for a high volume of positions across various departments and organizational levels.
- Partner with Hiring Managers to understand staffing requirements and provide effective recruitment support.
- Source candidates through job boards, resume databases, LinkedIn, social media, networking, and other creative sourcing strategies.
- Screen, interview, assess, and present qualified candidates to Hiring Managers.
- Maintain accurate and timely candidate records and recruitment activity within the ATS.
- Develop and maintain strong candidate relationships and talent pipelines.
- Monitor recruitment activity and achieve established hiring targets and KPIs.
- Deliver a positive, professional, and consistent candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
- Collaborate closely with HR and internal stakeholders to support organizational hiring needs.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Experience
- 2+ years of high-volume recruitment experience within a large, fast-paced organization is required.
- Proven experience managing full-cycle recruitment and sourcing candidates through multiple channels.
- Experience with UKG is considered an asset.
- Strong interviewing, candidate assessment, and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with the capacity to manage competing priorities.
- Results-oriented and comfortable working in a high-volume environment while meeting tight deadlines.
- Strong computer skills and experience using an Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Post-secondary education in Human Resources or a related field is an asset.
- CPHR designation or a recruiting-related certification is an asset.
- A combination of relevant education and experience will be considered.
