What You’ll Do
As an Account Manager, you’ll focus on developing new business, building strong client relationships, and connecting great organizations with the top talent they need.
- Develop new business through proactive outbound sales, cold calling, networking, referrals, and targeted prospecting.
- Build and manage a book of clients across your assigned market.
- Negotiate terms, close new business, and identify opportunities to expand existing client relationships.
- Conduct client meetings to understand hiring needs, business challenges, and workforce requirements.
- Partner closely with Recruiters to develop effective recruitment plans and deliver qualified talent to clients.
- Pursue networking opportunities to build brand recognition and generate leads.
- Stay informed on labour market trends and hiring needs to provide valuable insight and solutions to clients.
- Maintain accurate activity and client information within our CRM/ATS.
- Provide exceptional ongoing service to clients and build long-term partnerships that generate repeat business and referrals.
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for an ambitious sales professional who is excited to build a successful career in the staffing and recruitment industry.
The ideal candidate is confident in a B2B sales environment, comfortable with outbound prospecting, and motivated by winning new business and growing a book of clients.
- 2–5 years of experience in B2B sales, business development, account management, or agency recruitment.
- Proven experience with outbound sales, cold calling, and new business development.
- Agency recruitment experience is an asset.
- Strong business acumen and the ability to confidently communicate with clients and decision-makers.
- Exceptional communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.
- Strong work ethic with a high sense of urgency and accountability.
- Competitive and results-driven, with the motivation to build a book of clients and grow your earning potential.
